Harry Potters magic has never been cool. Like really. It’s kinda always been boring Forspoken was just bad. But yea the magic does look cool. I haven’t even seen much of Hogwarts legacy outside of a few clips so I can’t even really judge all the magic

@dyingscribe People who say Forspoken combat is good or better than any recent ARPG either have not played the game, or are people who have not seen past the veneer of the animation and particle effects to observe how lackluster and easy combat is, even on Hard and swapping spells.

@julesprom you do need to be able to stomach the first, like, 10 hours of forspoken, because combat in the opening chapters is "gun spell (explosive)", "gun spell (rapid fire)" and "gun spell (short range)" ad nauseam

@dyingscribe Forspoken combat LOOKS flashy The actual combat is stale and does not challenge you to use your various spells You can and most likely will go through the game with one set of magic with one basic attack and nothing else The AI is ass, and dodging is very generous.
